Cement is often confused with concrete. Cement is a finely ground, usually grey coloured mineral powder. When mixed with water, cement acts as a glue to bind together the sand, gravel and crushed stone to form concrete, the most widely used construction material in the world.

Lehigh Cement operates two cement plants in Canada Region (Delta, British Columbia and Edmonton, Alberta) as well as one grinding plant in Bellingham, Washington.
Lehigh Cement is a member of the Cement Association of Canada (CAC) and the Portland Cement Association (PCA).
